Outpost Alliance brings more than 35 years of award-winning experience in the book and magazine publishing industry. We’re storytellers to our core. Cofounder and Publisher, Scott Leuthold has published a non-fiction book, 18 children’s books, and 3 magazines throughout his career.
We set out to design and develop a regional lifestyle magazine that was second to none. Our goal was to create a biannual publication that would deeply connect with both local residents and visitors alike. We believe a comprehensive lifestyle magazine appeals to both. Residents find real cultural association with our stories. Visitors experience all that the region has to offer—especially our people.
We keep detailed data about the ever-changing popularity of our magazine. Our current production and distribution has exceeded our expectations. Today we are delighted to share that our magazine reaches an estimated half a million readers in 25 states.
In only one year, we have increased our coverage to include subscribers in 25 states. Our primary states include Texas (27 cities), New Mexico (12 cities), Arizona (9 cities), Oklahoma (6 cities), Colorado (6 cities), and Kansas (4 cities).
We focus on the greater Southern Rockies region of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado within a radius of approximately 150 miles of our headquarters located in Angel Fire, New Mexico. Our triple ring of focus below shows our primary attention is centered on the communities within and surrounding the Enchanted Circle region. We distribute to over 800 locations within that radius including 70 hotels and three airports. We also distribute to 35 locations in Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas and have paying subscribers in 25 states.
